Founded in 2004, Synthetic Cinema International (SCI) specializes in the production, distribution, sales and financing of independent feature films. As a full-service independent production and distribution company working within an ever-changing domestic and international marketplace, SCI is dedicated to delivering quality film products that are highly marketable worldwide.

At Synthetic Cinema International, we’ve been working to produce and deliver a new breed of affordable creature features to the world market. We have forged home video, television, and video-on-demand (VOD) deals with various companies which including Lionsgate, Vivendi (Universal Studios Home Video), Maverick Entertainment, Maxim Media International, Gravitas Ventures, Maple Pictures (Canada), NBC / Universal Networks and MVD Entertainment Group.

We have secured wide distribution for all of our films, with each of our titles available in Blockbuster Video as well as retail and online outlets such as BestBuy, FYE, Barnes & Noble, Hollywood Video, Movie Gallery, Walmart, Netflix, Amazon.com and a host of others.

For our latest pictures, we have created an all-new Synthetic Cinema DVD label in the US market to extend our unique brand into distribution. In addition to our own material, we will acquire and release a limited number of quality, finished films from other producers. We are currently looking for creature features or films with “name” talent in the action, adventure, sci-fi, horror and thriller genres.

We’ve made deals to release each of our past films in all major territories around the world, from theaters in India, to DVD in Japan, to television in the UK. We use our international relationships, and proven sales record to help our releases sell overseas.

Some examples of our productions include Trees (2004), Trees 2: The Root of All Evil (2005), Predator Island (2005), Blood Descendants (2007), Werewolf: The Devil’s Hound (2007), Banshee!!! (2009), Assault of the Sasquatch (2010) and Opponent (2010).
