"SASQUATCH ASSAULT-Opening Night Film at CT Film Festival"

Tickets Are Now Available for Opening Night of the Silk City Flick Fest

The opening night movie kick-off for the first annual Silk City Flick Fest will be held on Thursday, October 8, at the Showcase Cinemas Buckland Hills in Manchester. A private cocktail party for filmmakers, VIPs and the press will be held in the Chatters Bar & Grill at Showcase at 5:45 p.m., followed by the premiere local screening of the creature feature “Sasquatch Assault” at 7 p.m. A brand new independent release directed by Andrew Gernhard of Synthetic Cinema International, LLC in Rocky Hill and in conjunction with Vijaya Cine Enterprises, the Silk City Flick Fest is pleased at the opportunity to screen “Sasquatch Assault” and the work of other Connecticut filmmakers.

Tickets for the screening are now available for $10 at silkcityflickfest.com but seating is limited. The Silk City Flick Fest is an independent endeavor designed to showcase the best in independent and student films. Beginning October 8, the SCFF will include special screenings, panel discussions and live demonstrations throughout a four-day weekend of community involvement and family fun.

10% of all proceeds from the Flick Fest will be donated directly to MARC, Inc.
